EXPERIMENT PAGE

In the study of physics there are two seemingly separate branches of philosophy, the theoretical and the experimental disciplines.

On the one hand, experimental research can be very expensive and time-consuming and so theoretical foresight is practical and necessary.  Experimentation without this foresight is experimentation by trial and error.

On the other hand theoretical endeavor, not tempered by the sobering reality of experiment, can sometimes evolve into mathematical phantasmagoria.  The library has many books of theory, written in the past, through years of hard labor and well intentioned dedication, which unfortunately were based on false assumptions.  Conversely, many great strides in modern technology were made based on accurate theoretical predictions.

Somewhere on common ground do these disciplines meet and mutually complement each other.  It is in this spirit that this website is offered to the general public.

   Please read the Website Philosophy

From time to time new theory and experiments will be posted so check back often.  Also take a look at the text:

FUNDAMENTAL INVARIANCE and NATURAL NUMBERS

You can read selected chapters of this text, right here online (Free) by clicking the FUNDIVAR links. (In the Gravitation section). Just scroll down the page and any live links to chapters will be highlighted in blue. Every month or so, I will rotate the chapter links so that over time they will all be displayed. I used to have the whole book available to read free online but the expense of maintaining this website and bandwidth limitations have forced me to limit that practice. If you really need to read it for free, I mean if you really really need to read it for free, just contact me and I will make it available to you. You also can purchase your own copy, (printable), on CD-ROM on the GRAVITATION page..

ENJOY THE WEBSITE !!
